Thibaut Courtois is on course to leave Chelsea and return to Madrid to join Real, according to Spanish media outlet Marca.
The Belgian enjoyed a successful loan spell at
Atletico Madrid and has never hidden his desire to one day return to La Liga.
Courtois has reportedly notified friends and Chelsea team-mates of his
impending summer switch to join Zinedine Zidane's side next summer.
Senior Real Madrid officials are said to have
already spoken to Courtois and are closing in on a deal to bring him back to
Spain.
